We're also curious to see what threads get wrapped up and which remain open for a future continuation. It looks like the Racer is in some cover art, so that is curious indeed. But for now we're invested in what's going to happen with this black hole and with Kamal!

Well, less feedback this time but to be honest there was A LOT more talk about Serifan and the FP than indicated here. And as always we find ourselves asking: WHERE ARE THE FOREVER PEOPLE? 😂

The calm before the storm has now passed and we're getting to the climax. We're nervous in the best way!

9. Scott and Orion having their own ways of going through the force field was a lot of fun. The group said it was a brotherly activity. 😂 Awesome to see the baton thing that turns into Orion's bike!

6. How cool that New Light has so much foliage! Kinda reminded us of Habitat where the Hairies from Jimmy Olsen live.

4. Cut to where he is now, arguing with Max. More manipulation. Wonder what Desaad is going to use him for.
5. The colors and the art fit so well together, and of course that would make sense by the same artist! The high saturation is a contrast to what we'd seen, and it gives an intensity.

3. The art of Serifan aging was superb. He was adorable and wide eyed. Then the disillusionment was OOF. Seeing him sitting alone in a messy room, watching the indoctrination and manipulation on TV with tears in his eyes and gun in his hand 💔 We can draw conclusions about what happened to his eye.

1. Love seeing the culture surrounding the Forever People, and the setting with the lava lamp and older TV. This is the FP to us! Als, yes! pink Supercycle!!
2. Serifan being touched by the Dark, and the Darkness in this story with the Nyctari is interesting and we pondered that connection.

I finally scrolled back through all the latest mentions of Metron, yknow like a normal person. Godspeed to all the Star Trek fans not vibing with the handling of the Arena throwback. I don't go there, but to me those Metron are neighbors, distant relatives, ships passing in the night.

DC Challenge (1985) 11 & 12

Combining issues for this final bit. Plas is only in that one panel for issue 11, and it’s just Woozy in issue 12.

Very wild tale indeed.

Plas is one of many heroes that The Spectre starts absorbing the soul of, I think. I’m not reading too deep into think, my brain’s already melting.

In the Plane Of Holes, a world-between-worlds, Woozy spots all the various actions going on across the globe, while Deadman tries to regain his composure.

Woozy grabs Deadman’s collar to point out what’s going on on earth and- hey wait a second how is he even seeing and interacting with Deadman? You know what, maybe I’ll find out if I actually read this book.

We see Woozy off for the final time, off with Deadman, venturing into the unknown, lead by Metron.

There’s a joke in Kyle Baker’s Plastic Man series that DC is so full of weird and bizarre characters that not even Woozy knows who Metron is.

This scene makes that on even funnier.
