Got back to playing Dawntrail. Loving it still, though I feel like I see the quest goal of “Speak with Wuk Lamat” more often than seeing “Pray return to the Waking Sands”.

Got FFXIV working be deleting the game files. lol Didn’t remove nearly as much as I suspect. A Shane that I have to relearn the game all the time, as I tend to stop playing for a year or so. Still, it always feels like coming home. 🥰

I decided to get caught up in FFXIV, but the game won’t load. So on top of the 20m update, I have to repair files for another… 50m. 😓 First time that has happened.

Watched a 2hr vid on ask the FFXI expansions, and it earnestly makes me want to sub up now, and play it all the way through. Especially with ask the changes that make it soloable. I yearn for community in XIV, but XI, I’m in for the story.

Whoa! This makes me think of Arcana Heart, in that choosing different arcana’s could drastically change your play style. Always loved the idea. The right support can make a bad character good, or turn a matchup around.
