When my great uncle died we realized we were seriously lacking in folks to carry a casket. Had to pull in the “kids.” So my generation, which are no longer kids!

We divorced all the men. We literally don’t have enough menfolk to carry a casket. Luckily mom has agreed to cremation. I think even I could carry her.

I could hear the implied “little lady.”
I finally had the overdue conversation with one of the Guard groups that come in to the hotel asking them to not handle the weapons in the hotel. Wasn’t comfortable, but had to happen…and will happen again. There are so many of them.
