One note: At a high level- Minneapolis is split into areas called North, NorthEast, Uptown, Downtown, and South. So North Minneapolis refers to a specific area of Minneapolis.

"Disk" is not a short form of "diskette".
"Diskette" is a diminuitive of "disk", introduced by IBM when they introduced the floppy disk in the 1970s—it refers to how it is substantially smaller than the 14" hard disk stacks common at the time.
(It's also not a "hard diskette" ftm.)
