Agreed. The doctor is the one who's evaluated the patient. They're the one who should have the authority to determine treatment.

Insurance has been hiring doctors with multiple malpractice suits to deny coverage for years. The last couple years, they've been using AI. All for profit.

I haven't personally seen this appeal success rate, but I've heard from friends that it worked for them more often than not.
Granted, they tended to have "normal" health issues as-opposed to hEDS/HSD and our 'weirdly-related' comorbidities.
