If I worked at Yelp, I’d add a feature that if you’re writing a negative review of a bar after midnight, you’d get prompted, “If you’ve been drinking before writing this review, are you sure you want this posted?”And if you click yes, you get, “we will ask again in 14 hours. Your review is saved.”

Predictive scheduling laws are still a fairly recent intervention and corporations are already illegally circumventing them. Government needs to treat corporations like the enemy that they are.

This is the conservative talking point I see constantly in city subreddits. “It’s just a supply problem. The city and its liberal policies create too much expense & red tape to build.” False. You free up 30 million homes across the country and nothing will change.

I had straight male friends who would say MeToo was out of control & giving women too much power to “cancel” men. And it was like they were telling on themselves.

So let’s get this straight. After a bunch of Democratic wins in which the Democratic Party and MSM had pretty much no hand in (& actively against some of it), they preferred to waste that political capital to end the shut down. And they’re now blaming voters for being upset? Replace the Democrats.
