I don’t read any replies. So sorry.
If I worked at Yelp, I’d add a feature that if you’re writing a negative review of a bar after midnight, you’d get prompted, “If you’ve been drinking before writing this review, are you sure you want this posted?”And if you click yes, you get, “we will ask again in 14 hours. Your review is saved.”

Predictive scheduling laws are still a fairly recent intervention and corporations are already illegally circumventing them. Government needs to treat corporations like the enemy that they are.
Starbucks Agrees to Pay Workers $38 Million to Settle Scheduling Law Probe
Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani and Sen. Bernie Sanders joined striking employees in Brooklyn after the coffee chain agreed to the city's largest-ever worker protection settlement.

It’s quite startling when you realize 70% of a population agrees on something and its supposed representative government does the opposite. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

Time to red pill your friends & family.
The New York Times, where the popular mayor-elect of their city is a fringe figure, but the QAnon podcaster who asked him a racist question comes out as a "winner"

This newspaper hates its readers as much as Republicans hate their voters. And if you're still supporting either, you deserve it.
What a strange framing and characterization. How does one describe his blatantly dishonest, racist question about taxes as “press[ing] the Mayor-elect on his policy proposals”? In what way does this lying troll emerge as a “winner“?

As if Mamdani isn’t “scrambling” the national Democratic Party too? So tired of the mainstream media being cute about their disdain for Mamdani. We know what you represent and it isn’t people.

Remember, racists, you still have to be somewhat covert in your racist pursuits in the US.

Police chases. That thing SF banned except for extreme cases only to overturn that policy and now crashes crashes everywhere. Because of crime panic peddled online & in media. Effn stupid. Hope all of the injuries, property damage, and innocent death are worth it.!

Like I know the SF Examiner is shit but it sucks that so many people probably read these pump pieces and think it’s actual journalism. That city is so captured by the wealthy. It’s disgusting. Oh, and the mayor celebrating Blackrock? Of course.

And Democrats think they should reach across the aisle to this vile shit?
Former UVA President Jim Ryan has just released a 12-page memo of his own account of his forced resignation last summer. Here’s just a bit in which Paul Manning, a member of the Board, was told by DOJ that unless Ryan departed they would “bleed UVA white.”

Further statements from Beya Alcaraz will not sound anything like this when the political PR team that was gifted to her by Lurie is no longer at her side. Also? Once again SF has @missionlocal.org to thank for breaking another political bomb. Leanna Louie was another one.

This is the conservative talking point I see constantly in city subreddits. “It’s just a supply problem. The city and its liberal policies create too much expense & red tape to build.” False. You free up 30 million homes across the country and nothing will change.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

I had straight male friends who would say MeToo was out of control & giving women too much power to “cancel” men. And it was like they were telling on themselves.
Like I dunno, maybe the reason it took a lady to break open the story of all the men protecting the dude trafficking underage girls is because the male journos were all emailing him making jokes about it?
November 13, 2025 at 7:21 PM
So let’s get this straight. After a bunch of Democratic wins in which the Democratic Party and MSM had pretty much no hand in (& actively against some of it), they preferred to waste that political capital to end the shut down. And they’re now blaming voters for being upset? Replace the Democrats.
