Markwayne Mullin: "Reward people for being healthy. Think about this. Healthcare is the only industry that you're not rewarded for taking care of your responsibility. If you think about homeowners insurance, if you're within 500 feet of a fire hydrant, your insurance goes down."

The Supreme Court handed Trump criminal immunity. Now he thinks he can break the law without consequences.

Rep. Joe Morelle’s amendment would reverse this dangerous decision and make clear: no president is above the law.

TAPPER: Obama's comments came within a day of Trump hosting a Gatsby-themed Halloween party at Mar-a-Lago while SNAP benefits are set to run out. Your response?

BESSENT: I believe President Obama played a record amount of golf of any president, so I'm not sure why he's out there throwing stones

None of us are safe

Before imposing a sentence (that deprives someone of life, liberty, or property), our Constitution requires the government to bring forward FACTS that prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the accused violated a specific criminal law. In court of law, in public, before a jury.
Awful: Pentagon officials told lawmakers Trump now claims authority to bomb people merely “affiliated” with “narco-terrorist" groups, Rep Adam Smith tells me. But under questioning, they wouldn't say what “affiliated” even means!

Lots of fresh info in my new piece:
