How much would it cost to ship a dozen surplus speed cameras from Ontario to #NewWest?
Asking for a friend.

Cyclists may be familiar with Schroedinger's cyclist. But I'd suggest also Schroedinger's public transport: simultaneously too slow and restrictive for car-users to take, while also perfectly fine and therefore not in need of any funding for improvement or expansion, or reallocation to bus lanes.

See all the street furniture, the extended patios? You can't have any of this placemaking if you make the street car free only 1 day a week for 8 hours. No business is going to install and dismantle these things on repeat. This was a Thursday btw

what's so frustrating about these pilot programs is they give people a glimpse of what could be better in our cities, then withdraw it, and the whole charade squanders an enormous amount of money and achieves nothing
Really disappointing that after what was a wildly successful and popular Water St pedestrian pilot last summer, council has decided that this year all we get is 8 hours a week.
