I get that currently, on the street, they can do whatever they want without any accountability. But my question is about the actual law and whether ICE has *legal* authority over US citizens. Maybe the answer is that they do in fact have the power to order citizen to show ID.

Does ICE have *legal* power over US citizens? Like the same way a probation officer does not have the power to bark order to someone that is not on probation.

It SHOULD not be up to the rate payers, but the system places future grid expansion on the shoulders of rate payers. It's very unfair.
