Today I tried to make Christmas crack and failed the toffee part. Not sure what I did wrong. Likely didn’t let it bubble for long enough. Unfortunate because it was going to be a gift and I can’t afford new ingredients. 😖

Today I was excluded from the WA state BRFSS survey due to me casually inquiring if they had a “non-binary“ instead of male or female. They read a canned response about Trump EO’s restricting the state from collecting data from gender conforming people. Then they hung up.

Liberals seem to call progressives “far left“ and extreme which is weird. I don’t see taxing the rich and providing humans with basic humans rights as extreme. It’s what’s good for all humanity.

Today I created the holidays in one day. Decorations, tree, gifts. All done. I hate shopping but I like sparkly things and making things special for my kid.

I’m usually so excited for the holidays but this year…..I can’t bring myself to even decorate. i haven’t bought any gifts because I don’t want to spent money right now. I gotta get over it though and quick. My kid deserves a holiday even if it’s just family time, decor and good food.

Being a solo parent is so isolating. Being a queer solo parent is even more isolating. Being a queer neurodivergent disabled solo parent is impossibly isolating. Maybe it’s just where I live. It’s beautiful here but I haven’t found my community.

Today I got a popup on YouTube that said “we’re unable to confirm you’re an adult” with a button to verify my age. I ignored it and if they start censoring my regular videos b/c I don’t confirm I just won’t use YouTube anymore because I’m stubborn and refuse to give my ID to a tech corp.

Today I got a popup on YouTube that said “we’re unable to confirm you’re an adult” with a button to verify my age. I ignored it and if they start censoring my regular videos b/c I don’t confirm I just won’t use YouTube anymore because I’m stubborn and refuse to give my ID to a tech corp.
I ate pumpkin pie on thanksgiving and it flared up my gastroparesis. I’ve been miserable ever since. Today was the worst I’ve felt in over a year. I hate this disease So much.

I was just told that I should get the shingles vaccine. I’m not 50 yet but immunocompromised…..and I’ve heard from others that the shingles vaccine side effects are really terrible. So I’m kind of worried, but I’m guessing getting shingles is probably much worse….right?
