The recent policy change which makes it impossible for young trans people to delay puberty, at great cost to their mental health, has a special caveat to allow cross-sex hormones to be used on intersex children even contrary to their wishes, at great cost to their mental health.

When I found out that I'm intersex I knew, statistically, there were lots of other people like me out there, but only about a dozen were publicly visible. It has been a great joy to me to watch this movement grow over the decades and begin to exert real pressure for our human rights to be respected.

It just came to my attention that Trump was “woke-punked” by intersex belly dancers in his horrendous AI Gaza video www.thedailybeast.com/trump-trolle...
Trump Trolled Over the Bearded Belly Dancers in His AI Gaza Video
It’s possible the president missed that bizarre detail amid all the golden statues of himself.

Lots to piece out from day 1 of the hearing on Trump's executive order concerning trans people in the military, but this back-and-forth between Judge Ana Reyes and government lawyer Jason Lynch about intersex people and biology is interesting!

Hitler was intersex. It was widely acknowledged that he had hypospadias, an intersex condition where your urethra is on the underside of your penis. Think about that for a minute. Witness what a monster it makes to hate oneself that badly.

My book I Never Promised You a Rose Garden about the rise of white nationalism in the US was called one of the 10 Best Graphic Novels of 2021 in the New York Times.

It’s weird when the president declares you don’t exist. On the one hand, it’s a surreal feeling of erasure. On the other, it’s somewhat of a relief to relinquish visibility and go back underground.

Ashwagandha is a shrub that grows in India, the Middle East, and North Africa. It can help with stress, increase testosterone levels, regulate libido, and help you gain stamina and muscle mass while exercising.

Hermaphroditus was the child of Hermes and Aphrodite. Raised by the naiad Salmacis, he became one of the Erotes, a collective of winged beings associated with love and sex. He was the patron god of marriage. Based on how he is depicted in antiquity, he probably had congenital adrenal hyperplasia.

I have an intersex condition called CAH, or congenital adrenal hyperplasia. My body produces more testosterone than “normal” and my adrenaline and cortisol levels are off, causing anything from depression and anxiety to IBS and UTIs. CAH is most common in India, Africa, and the Middle East.

European nations have come and gone, but for more than 1,500 years, a Slavic-speaking ethnic minority has remained inside Germany.
