I think more people should study digital-age media manipulation and information warfare tactics and apply them to their acts of resistance instead of relying on stale, sometimes centuries old, ideas of what protest and resistance should look like.

Microsoft enabled this surveillance for years and allowed the data to be vacuumed up before the block was implemented.

Certainly one of the most public recent examples of how AI fits into the offensive goals of state threat actors. A lesson to note.
