My #TopShelfFriday selection for the week (and the first one in a long while) sticks with the Shooter signature theme: Valiant's Unity #0 from 1992. Mr Shooter signed this and a few other books for me at WA Summer Con in 2024.

I bailed on a concert on Monday, just two nights ago. The struggle is real.
And I might have bailed on another a few weeks ago had it not been a very expensive ticket with an uncertain possibility I'd have another chance to see that act.

Sorry to have missed this when you originally posted it. I'm such a big fan of his art, and am slowly trying to compile one each of his published comics work. I wish I'd been into comics and had known of him sooner, and had the opportunity to meet him and collect some of his art/prints.

I've been seeing that too. It's taken a lot of self-restraint to not blow them up on their IG posts for it. It's such trash.

I was in one of my LCS last week picking up some various BWS back issues. The owner noticed my selections and handed me a copy of this SSoC issue suggesting I check out Liam Sharp's story. A quick glance at the art was enough to convince me. 🤩

I did have a copy of WW Annual #1 from 2021 briefly in my collection, just for the cover. I eventually gifted it to a friend, who's been a lifelong WW fan.

And agreed on the WW covers. I don't read the main continuity series, but the covers frequently have me feeling tempted to pick up a copy.
Hayden Sherman has been doing incredible work on Absolute WW, which has been my favorite of the Absolute books.

This was also one of my A-covers-only exceptions. I have a difficult time saying "no" to a Sienkiewicz cover.
Or a Vess. Or BWS, or Veregge, or Steranko. Tho except for Bill, none of these are doing anything new AFAIK. Vess, BWS, & Steranko are still w/ us, but Veregge is tragically deceased.
