Well, if it’s any consolation, I preferred your father’s novel. Brunner’s work is remarkable but I couldn’t get into it at all.

Reading this at a young age and in the 1960s would probably be a totally different experience, that’s for sure. It’s a shame for the cover.

You’re welcome! I’d say "Flowers for Algernon" is a standout. A masterpiece IMO. As for future readings, I’m excited for "Man Plus", "Parable of the Talents" and quite a few more! I’ve read 36 winners so far.
