the way The Eye of Darkness absolutely wrecked me… last night i stayed up reading, and now i’m running on 2% battery. also, that one scene?? i’ll be haunted forever, the most horrifying and brutal scene I’ve ever read in SW.

TMoF really highlights where Leia got her fire—Bail was just as bold, just as idealistic, and just as willing to take a stand. it makes so much sense. you don’t get a Leia Organa without parents who lead by example.

that last third of the book?? insane. the whole thing was good, but the ending was just nonstop action. still got a few things left from THR phase 2, but i think i’m officially done with the books. can’t believe i survived.
