Starting the work of trying to minimize Google in my life. One step at a time. Biggest reminder I keep telling myself is that I need to embrace the inconvenience and get used to curating my own digital life.

I started Epic the Musical and made it 46 minutes in before I immediately looped back to the beginning because I was obsessed. I'll finish it once I stop crying over Polites and a TikTok video that absolutely did me in.

One of my favorite things I've discovered working at a library is the power of weeding. Taking time to remove books and items that no longer serve the public is such a cool lesson to apply to my own life. Tis the season to double down on only that which I keep coming back to.

My Old Ass hit me far harder than I anticipated. So funny and devastating with their portrayal of a story you’ve seen before with updated changes for 2024

Half way through Andor and there are so many quotes that keep vibrating in my head. I'm years late to the party, but this is the best thing ever.

Dune 2 was fantastic and there are so many things I loved about it.

However...I can't talk about it without sounding like a hater.

Ive heard myself talking about it and it's absolutely the sound of a hater. I love it though...but...yeah.

These text based sites are helping me with my writing because the constraints (number of characters) mean I take a red pen to any lengthy piece I type up. Every time, my writing becomes sharper. More pronounced.

My thoughts on Oppenheimer and Dune 2 soon.

Been back on that daily codewars for a minute, and my god is it satisfying to get a solution, no matter how verbose! Then to see the more efficient solutions and be able to piece together why they work. Mental effort is so fucking worthwhile.

It's suddenly in my head to see if there is any fanfiction pairing Mr. Bennet and Mrs. Gardiner together. The idea of the two individuals with the highest degree of shown situational awareness pairing up is cute in my head.

While reading, I typically will highlight and quote my favorite sections. It serves two functions: to easily reference material I love and want to revisit, and to serve as a recap when I want a reminder of the key moments from the book.

I tagged my sister over text to collab on a playlist of childhood classics we listened to growing up and she responded with 20+ songs while I was listening to the playlist. Easily made for a fantastic nostalgic filled day.

I've fallen off and stopped sharing my life here as I live it. Working to get back into that flow because reflection is paramount. I love my life, and so I tell my life to myself.
