I broke up with kindle exclusivity (they had a death grip on me with their streaks counter). With this I can keep track of my playlists without having to depend on Spotify.

I'll always remember "doors and corners" and "it's the cascade" from the expanse because the narrator was so damn good. It's like a play in my head.

Yeah audiobooks slow me down because when a solid line occurs I pause until I can get somewhere to copy down the line for my records but the hard stop means I quote far less. The upside is that many lines stick easier in my head because it's almost like music or a performance.
