She sounds like an awful person then, to be honest. Weird person to a profile about

Pete Hegseth has continuously generated a variety of terrible pr ranging from being drunk on the job to multiple extremely serious security infractions with signal chats, but he’s not at risk of being replaced any time soon. I wonder white that is?

And it started in earnest with the words “trickle-down economics” being written on a napkin.

And then all the power and control will be consolidated from a larger and more diverse set of hands down into a concentrated and small group of “elite” hands. They do it EVERY. TIME. And we, the people, STILL LET THEM. It’s time for Iceland to finally be a lesson to us here in the US.

This has always been the plan. They’ve been positioning for the never-defensible, always outrageous and stupid “too big to fail” nonsense and the government will happily capitulate, just like they have with EVERY SINGLE BUBBLE since the 80s.

As far as I’m concerned, the only reason Vader works in the movie is because of how it seamlessly runs the film right up into the opening of the original movie. That’s it.
November 24, 2025 at 9:56 PM
Buddy, you are the only person here who’s even brought up Darth Vader. I haven’t mentioned his inclusion (my least favorite thing about the movie) a single time.

I’m not insulted, I’m sad for you. It’s one thing to not like something - cool, to each their own - but to be so utterly wrong at every turn, just top to bottom, front to back, so thoroughly as to approach an art form…that’s lamentable.
November 24, 2025 at 9:52 PM
Your wrongness appears boundless. Again, it’s not the movie’s fault that you abjectly refuse to engage even a modicum of critical thinking while you’re watching.
November 24, 2025 at 9:50 PM
If you’re hoping someone is going to debate you about how long-form storytelling is infinitely superior to the shit medium that is movies in general, buddy I am not the one. Long-form all day.

Well, your muscles are atrophied, so I hope you do it with *something.* That said, I really do wish you well. I gotta get back to my day now.

It can tell absolutely whether the pilot is telling Saw the truth or not. Saw *says that in the scene.*
November 24, 2025 at 9:44 PM
I hope sometime you can set your irrational take about the movie aside and re-watch it when you’re not having a terrible day, or whatever happened when you originally watched it. Frankly, the film deserves better than takes like this, and you deserve better of yourself with regard to comprehension.

But Saw’a characterization and role in the movie is crucial to Jyn’s characterization and understanding her arc in the movie. This is basic, basic scriptwriting stuff, friend.

The pacing of the movie is absolutely an issue. Go back to my first comment up above. Nobody debates that. It’s not a perfect film. But you’re out here flat out ignoring everything the movie showed you to try and bleat “it’s terrible” when nothing you’re saying holds up to even casual scrutiny.
November 24, 2025 at 9:40 PM
But your arguments, such as they are, are being posited by a living, breathing person in the real world and are completely, totally bereft of even the shadow of coherence.
November 24, 2025 at 9:38 PM
It’s characterization for Saw Gerrera, dude. They have virtually no runway in the film to introduce people (general audiences, at least) to Saw and establish how ruthless and paranoid he is. There’s nothing out of left field about it at all.
November 24, 2025 at 9:36 PM
The closest you came to making a cogent point was about the production troubles the movie had. Every single thing you’ve complained about with the movie itself is so far beyond the realm of sanity as to be beyond parody, much less debate.
November 24, 2025 at 9:32 PM
Rebutting the things you’re saying here is like arguing with a child who swears the sky is red. There’s not even a tangible point based in reality with which to grapple.
