My co-author is back on bluesky! Please go shoot him a follow, he’s good people. Help us build up a community for the release of our first novel, The Major Arcana! ❤️
Well, I’m trying this thing again. I keep hearing it’s the better place to be, but my feed needs help, I guess. Who should I be following here?
Happy murder Turkey day if you celebrate

*gestures around*

See this? This is a Stranger Things-free zone. Thanks for understanding.

Go watch The Mighty Nein. Thank me later.

One of the most important things you’ll read this week. Upsetting, too, even if not particularly surprising. Even casual observation of the world around us should’ve already told everyone how utterly useless the economic metrics that get reported about actually are to real people.
We have a “poverty trap” and it’s driving the destruction of social cohesion.

The “poverty line” is’t 35,000, it’s $150,000, and making more than one, and less than the other is worse than being “poor”.

Which is why the rage.

One day I’m gonna record a Christmas album but it’s all nothing but ridiculously raunchy and stupid versions of Christmas songs

Democrats can’t fall all over themselves fast enough to try and align with Marjorie Taylor Fucking Greene. Soulless ghouls stay losing forever, apparently

Mamdani is truly gifted at this politics thing
Zohran Mamdani standing beside the President of the United States just said that the US is funding Israel's genocide and yet can't take care of its own unhoused children on live television.

I never thought I'd see something like that in my lifetime

I had no idea. Just turned this heinous, evil shit off, and I recommend anyone else who uses Gmail/Google do the same immediately.

a big runoff last night, in New Orleans:

Calvin Duncan was exonerated after spending *28 years* in prison; he tried to get his own case records from the New Orleans city clerk—but the office dragged its feet.

So Duncan ran to become city clerk himself, and yesterday ousted the incumbent.

Duncan, a political newcomer and former prisoner, defeated incumbent Darren Lombard by a wide margin in Saturday's runoff.

Donald Trump is the new throat goat, I hear. No kink shaming, folks. Remember: it’s not that he sucked dick! That’s not what we mock.

It’s *whose* dick he sucked. That’s what we mock.

If you’ve been looking for an alternative to funding establishment Dems who are cowards at the end of the day, please look into WFP. This grassroots party has done a significant amount of work over the years to elect progressives and make real change.
That’s why we’ll be working to unseat both Republicans as well as corporate Democrats who have kowtowed to the Trump agenda and replace them with Working Families Party champions who will fight to lower the cost of living and guarantee health care for every family.

No shade to non-fiction lovers and writers, y’all rock. For me personally, though, I feel I learn far more of humanity and the human condition from reading fiction.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

Not asked. Not demanded.

The next time Cornyn or Cruz listen to their actual constituents over the money that owns them will be the first time, but I hope those of you who have actual humans instead of reptiles as senators will call. Now.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
