#botaday Mirage. The Classics character still turns into a Formula 1 racer. His livery is still white and blue, and his number is still 26, but his sponsor labels based on a French cigarette brand has understandably been removed. He now promotes "Witwicky Sparkplugs." Mirage was released in 2006.

In a Rebels episode Obi-Wan said he believed Luke was the Chosen One and that apparently broke canon. Because Obi-Wan the character isn’t privy to behind the scenes interviews.

You guys interested in more stuff I pulled from Ron Moore’s β€˜90s AOL chats with DS9 fans?

This was in reaction to a Season 5 ep retconning Dr. Bashir’s history. OH NO! The sacred CANON was violated!

Ron has the correct perspective (and more patience than I would have.)

He then fixed someone’s tire on the side of the road (just after Tom Hanks did)

Contrarian who only counts the first 10 minutes of Star Wars as Star Wars. β€œOh did they make more than 10 minutes?”

Did they ever actually make trash bags like this? That’d be cool.

Am reading Vonda McIntyre’s Star Trek III novel. Wow, she was given a great deal of leeway. Nearly halfway through the book and the movie has hardly started.

It’s the same instinct that prompts the needless contortions of giving Bumblebee a pre-Earth name of B-127, but Cybertron doesn’t have Hounds, Jazz, Huffers or Ratbats. It’s fine.

He was a producer in the 60s-70s that did a whole slew of shows, including The Fugitive, Cannon, Barnaby Jones and The Streets of San Francisco.

QM: whose production is this?

The Quinn Martin shows would bring in the same guest stars over and over again onto the same series to play DIFFERENT characters. You cowards couldn’t handle that.
Mahoney also guest-starred on Cheers as a different character (I can't remember if he was ever in a scene with Kelsey Grammer), so I bet the continuity people would have a field day with that one. Although they allowed every species to have its own Jeffrey Combs, so that might've been okay. 😁

Exactly! Would canon hard-liners have denied us John Mahoney on FRASIER on the basis of one line of dialogue on another series several years ago?
"As a writer, I find it hard to believe--" Oh please. :P

Also, I remember when Frasier made his dad a main character despite the fact he was always dead on Cheers. They never mentioned it until Ted Danson guest starred.

"You told them I was DEAD...?!"
"We'd just had a fight, I was mad at you."
