Young developers, indies and students often ask for examples of real Game Design Documents, which are usually buried in NDAs. Ultimately, there is no specific format that makes a design doc “real” but it’s still nice to see real examples when you’re starting out.

This was our experience, too. It's amazing how fast you realize that you don't really need everything tomorrow. I used to wait weeks for mail order stuff, 5 days is plenty fast.
Obviously do what works best for you but fwiw: I decided to cancel Amazon Prime a year ago and find stuff elsewhere whenever I could, and… it took a little bit to get used to but it’s surprisingly easy to build new patterns of online shopping.
