Marco Rubio’s career is built upon obedience to an agenda and grooming - not cleverness or knowledge of world history. Hearing him try to articulate Trumpism in his scattershot chatGPT style while sincerely aching to sound witty and erudite is painful.

Americans I speak to lately fall into 2 groups:

Small minority: has the courage to admit that our so-called country is a failed state, an embarrassment and a toxic disaster for the planet.

Majority: desperately trying to avoid being aware of news so they can stay in denial.

Impossible to find words to describe the amount of suffering that USA is about to create for itself and Latin America. Not just Trump but Rubio and Vance and all the sheepish Dems who will gradually line up behind Trump too.

Another regime change war for oil - yes, it’s USA doing what it does. The result will be another slow and painful disaster for USA. (The pain will be suffered all over the world.) All for oil wealth.

And yeah we did a podcast about it 5 weeks ago. worldbeyondwar.org/abya-yala-is...

Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another” is the only good experience I’ve ever had with a Thomas Pynchon novel. Maybe I’ll even finish one of his books someday. Powerful flick.

Lots of people in USA don’t even seem aware that our incompetent and corrupt government is starting a major new regime change war against Venezuela that will surely have the same result as every other regime change war it started in the last 80 years.

The use of the National Guard in DC under fabricated claims of a crime crisis violates democratic norms and endangers civilians. Militarization = structural violence.
After the DC National Guard Shooting Comes the Big Lie
West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey is inventing reasons for the National Guard to occupy Washington, DC. We cannot let his outrageous fabrications take hold.

Both of these things are true:

- Zohran ran on a practical, effective affordability platform
- one reason Zohran won is his courage to speak the truth about Gaza and reject the moral abyss of Christian Zionism and AIPAC grift that otherwise owns both Dem and Repub parties

Zohran: “If you come for one of us you’re going to have to go through all of us”. This pointed message that we will stand together to defend immigrants in NYC feels to me like the most important words this great candidate just said in his victory speech.
