Interested in fair minded political discussion and pretty much all sports. Tired of unnecessary hate pumped out on a daily basis and where society is moving to in general. #LUFC #MOT
@pippacrerar.bsky.social Story still stands Pippa or you’ll correct the record?

#lufc Today I’d just like us to turn up the first fifteen minutes and put Forest on the back foot. A game we can win if we are aggressive and play with an intent to get the result

Reason 1. He was told to keep it at 4% at last nights lodge meeting 2. Farage & Reform told him not to cut the rate because why would they want to help people out 3. His bank exec pals asked for another month of extortion so they could get bigger bonuses. GTF Bailey

@lucypower.bsky.social Next time you speak with Tom can you ask him not to say “everybody hates her” when referencing the Chancellor of the Exchequer on ITV late night spot in his little boys club of three (Peston & Hills)!
I certainly don’t..

Marks & Spencer’s - Never their fault is it for big businesses. Profits down because of NI’s & packaging recycling levy’s. Let’s ignore we cut costs so deep that we ended up losing £300mln due to hackers & a lack of cybersecurity. Never mind, the insurance, price increases & cuts will cover it

#lufc I’m feeling a little more confident of getting something out of the Palace game.

Palace will play Manchester City, Arsenal, KuPS Kuopio and Leeds in a novel Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday Premier League, Fizzy Cup and Tin Pot triathlon (Guardian) - four games in eight days with us last up

@lbc.co.uk reducing my listening to @mrjamesob.bsky.social daily as the only presenter professional and decent enough to hold conversations and debates with balance and respect.

@pippacrerar.bsky.social correct of I’m wrong but where in the manifesto did it state they would not not raise EMPLOYER national insurance tax? It didn’t, in the manifesto and the election campaign they promised not to increase EMPLOYEE (workers) taxes (income, NI or VAT) and they haven’t.

Petrofac are likely to go bust today and everyone will be running around saying what they’ll now do and how lessons will be learnt.
I wrote to SNP, Conservative and Labour members of the Westminster and Holyrood parliament’s forewarning the companies signs of distress over one year ago. No replies!

@theguardian.com we see you 👀
‘A small move!’
Must have missed you reporting when there were ‘hugeeee moves!!’.
Absolute snides with your reporting…. Looking towards the days when you desperately need ‘a small donation!’ to keep the doors open.
October 23, 2025 at 3:38 PM
@theguardian.com as the Guardian and the rest of the UK media’s weeps at CPI remaining static I note its sudden disinterest in the gilts portrayed as Armageddon when it notched up a couple of weeks ago and now tumbleweed in the business section. Our media! Actively wishing suffering on the public!

What’s the decision making process on the grooming gang inquiry becoming ‘Starmers’ grooming gang inquiry? I’m interested in how a headline changes within eight hours

@leedsunited.com jumped on at 12-30 for tickets and through to the site at 13-00 at number 14,131 🤷‍♂️ seriously.

@theguardian.com Richard Parker is the Mayor of West Midlands and JLR is a 100% wholly owned Tata Group subsidiary and therefore they valued at $436bln could and should sort out payments to their supply chain.
At least publish your statements with valid facts starting with the current mayor!
September 25, 2025 at 8:20 AM
@itvnews.bsky.social JLR is owned by The Tata Group so why are you not asking them what they are doing to resolve the situation. Tata, valued at $436bln! Tata wholly own JLR that includes Corporate Governance (HSE/CyberSecurity). The government in itself has ZERO responsibility for JLR!
September 23, 2025 at 5:56 PM
JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) a wholly owned subsidiary of The Tata Group estimated to be worth $436bln.
But ITV News spends two days harassing first Rachel Reeves and then Peter Kyle on what they’re going to do about JLR being hacked and brought to a halt. Wtf has it got to do with the govn?

#lufc DF doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves in building player/team/squad confidence. Tough job getting a group to pull in the right direction and he’s basically had three seasons of building new teams each one. Tonight I’m giving DF a round of 👏

September 20, 2025 at 2:46 PM
#lufc we’ve scoreddddddd 🥳🥳 get in
September 20, 2025 at 2:31 PM
@theguardian.com can’t keep up with these black holes in the public finances you keep publishing. For a month it’s been £50bln quoted from NIESR and then I think reduced to £30bln and now down to £20bln from a new group Oxford Economics.
My view! Wait for the OBR update and stop speculating 🤔

@andrewsparrowgdn.bsky.social Andrew, apologies in bothering you again but I’m struggling to find any coverage the last 24 hours on the Employment Rights Bill - is this not seen as significant by @theguardian.com
I mean, a massive strengthening of workers rights and no coverage 😳🤔
September 16, 2025 at 5:08 PM
