and to join her before he gets killed.

River Ward is a whole quest about him being a good cop in a world of corrupt ones, he flirts with you the entire time and his whole questline is designed around making you empathetic towards him and his job.

Cyberpunk is 100% pro-cop.

City kid background: the cop that was told to kill you lets you go, because he used to be from your neighborhood.

Regina Jones used to be a journalist, one of the best but now she works for the cops and she even asks you to convince a former colleague to stop trying to hold the powerful accountable

Come on man... you can't tell me you don't see Cyberpunk as pro police. You are actively rewarded for helping the police they are the one permanent "quest giver" from start to finish and almost every police quest or NPC you meet is "one of the good guys":

There is copaganda in many games we play and enjoy, but there's so much more to games than mainstream AAA titles.
December 3, 2025 at 5:53 PM
And let's not forget that on Cyberpunk, one of the main factions that you do "jobs" for and pay you for it is the Cops... heck the "fixer" that gives you those missions used to be a reporter that held the powerful accountable and inspired others and another cop npc is "one of the good ones".

I'm not going to say that all of gaming is that, but I also can't deny there isn't an agenda that tries to push things slowly towards fascism given the tone-deafness of some games.

After all, Battlefield Hardline, a hardcore copaganda game, was released right around #DefundThePolice.

The world failed Monica so hard that it never recovered from it.

Listen, if a Fast and the Furious themed reality TV dating shows where people blind-pick their partners based on their cars, I would not be shocked.

Man's desperate for it.

Listen, it's a tough world out there and Vin Diesel need a comfy retirement.
December 3, 2025 at 5:07 PM
I think both franchises jumped the shark, or in the case of the Fast and the Furious it's safe to say the Car Jumped over the Moon.
December 3, 2025 at 4:56 PM
It was a dig. Sharknado 3 was pretty poorly received if I'm not mistaken.
December 3, 2025 at 4:51 PM
It's fine, most of my jokes land as well as Tyrion's lines after season 5.
December 3, 2025 at 4:43 PM
Just a small joke, don't take it seriously 🙃

It's just not the same character. In the books Jaime loses his most important thing and changes to become a better person, he develops diplomacy and empathy, though in the books we are at a cliffhanger where his family's past is about to catch up to him. In the TV shows we got... a mess.
December 3, 2025 at 4:36 PM
Sadly the same is not true for Sharknado.
December 3, 2025 at 4:31 PM
I might have gotten the season wrong. Basically whenever Jaime goes to Dorne in the TV show his character split apart from what they were in the books. They tried to bring him closer to Book Jaime when he went to the Riverlands but by then the damage was already done and we got a cheap approximation
December 3, 2025 at 4:21 PM
I don't know what the agreement was between him and HBO. It's clear that he was much more involved in the production of the earlier seasons but at some point he distanced himself, I don't know, or care, to know why, but whether or not it was the causation there is a correlation with how worse it got
December 3, 2025 at 4:17 PM
Book Jaime died season 3, as did many other characters.
December 3, 2025 at 4:10 PM
The later-half seasons of Game of Thrones were the equivalent of when the teacher asks someone, who copied on their test, to go solve a problem they "got right" on the chalk board in front of the class without bringing their test with them.

I will never forgive what they did to Jaime.

Micro Machines are at least 200% higher quality than most toys from the same era.

I hate this van had a handle that opened up to become a city with a mountain, drag race track and other miscellaneous stuff.

The only thing that came close was Lego.
December 3, 2025 at 3:28 PM
To be fair, Micro Machines were pretty fire back then, though my mother will forever hate me for them.

You know that saying "Football is a simple game: 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, Germany wins"?

Well Bluesky is a simple micro-blogging platform, dozens of toxic grifters/sex-pests/pedos have interpersonal feuds and at the end we find out Bree was right months in advance.
