Here’s the thing about healthcare premiums about to skyrocket: they will never come back down, short of a complete overhaul of our system for universal healthcare. Which clearly won’t happen bc of all the money tied up between health and politics.

One thing I've been thinking about a lot lately is how the US press just doesn't really talk about the fact that what happened here in November is happening worldwide (in part because it's not honestly talking about what's happening here) and is a part of a worldwide effort to destabilize democracy.

I updated this due to an astute follower pointing out that Alabama changed their laws to have off year local elections as well. That's a lot of races in 2025 in some 31 states! Local elections matter! Get involved! Send a message! This doesn't even include a bunch of special elections happening now!

I've seen a child with tetanus, I've treated near fatal infections after chicken pox, and I've pronounced children dead from COVID whose parents refused to have them vaccinated.
