I shared this the other day. I said it to a mate back in April. We won the league last season comfortably but the first half of the majority of games was a bit boring to watch. This season, that has spread to the full 90 minutes. We only ever get urgent when we need a goal with 10 mins to go.

Paqueta quite clearly, and deliberately, got himself off yesterday. It was obvious to anyone who watched it. He wanted to get a red card. Then today the BBC reports on this.

Went to watch Oldham at Accrington yesterday with my best who’s an Oldham fan. Dreadful game, hardly any goal mouth action and they lost 1-0. Stood on an open terrace in the cold pouring rain and can honestly say I enjoyed it more than watching us lose the last 3 games.

I’ve seen it before when players lose faith in the manager and stop trying. I think that’s where we are now. The next 3 games will decide his future. Possibly even the next one if we lose.

A mate sent me this last night. I sent it to him back in April. I’m sure some ppl will call me a moaning arse because I said it back in April when we were about to win the league. I have to be honest though, I never expected it to happen this quickly.

As soon as I saw Konate on the half-way line with his foot on the ball without any idea what to do with it, I knew we’d reverted back to the same tactics that saw us lose 5 out of 6 games & we got battered. The manager can’t keep doing the same thing hoping it will magically come right.

I did a bike ride at the beginning of September last year that involved 450 miles over 4 days & sleeping in tiny one-man tent. At night it was frickin freezing cold 🥶
Here we are now on the cusp of October & I’ve just been outside for about 20 minutes & it’s mild bordering on warm.
