Attorney, mediator and NAMI volunteer. My advocacy echoes the TRUTH that our allegiance is to the US Constitution and NOT any president.
Solid court decision. Thank you to the Friends of the Everglades, the Miccosukee Tribe and others for protecting our “River of Grass”!

This act wasn’t about traffic safety—it was a cruel political decision to erase a community’s symbol of remembrance for the 49 individuals killed in the Pulse mass shooting and diminish visible support for anyone identifying as LGBTQ. It’s disgraceful!

“Vance’s office didn’t respond to questions from ProPublica about how federal cuts have affected Great Lakes research. The White House also didn’t respond to messages.” This is a crime! People will die from the toxicity of the algal blooms…Vance knows better but lacks the spine to advocate.

Don’t listen to DeStupid! In a criminal context, HB 1 does not create blanket immunity for drivers who injure protesters. Florida criminal law still requires that use of force is justified only when it meets the legal standard for self-defense."

Isreal’s unilateral action is going to fracture our alliances with Europe and Arab states trying to peacefully negotiate a nuclear arms resolution and avoid a war. The fear and risk of the U.S. being drawn into this mess is entirely justified.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the victims of this mass shooting and to the whole community which has been terrorized.

Boston is fortunate to have her as their Mayor!

And where is this money coming from? And how much is it costing to deport the so called “criminals”?

The Governor of California vehemently disagrees. He rightfully filed a lawsuit challenging the deployment’s legality under the Constitution and the Posse Comitatus Act.

Under military law, particularly the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), service members are obligated to follow lawful orders and equally obligated to disobey unlawful ones. Trump has shamelessly placed an unjust and dangerous burden on those who serve honorably in defense of the Constitution.

Under military law (UCMJ), service members are obligated to follow lawful orders and equally obligated to disobey unlawful ones. Trump and his cronies disregard this legal and ethical imperative and place an unjust and dangerous burden on those who serve honorably in defense of the Constitution.

There is no ambiguity here, “Troops under federal authorities are in general prohibited from conducting law enforcement on U.S. soil under the Posse Comitatus Act.” Our Marines should not be placed in this compromising position. This is what happens when the Commander-in-Chief is a felon.

Wow…”a city of criminals”Noem, Trump and Miller are the clowns criminalizing the constitutional right to peaceful assembly and ignoring the state sovereignty!
June 10, 2025 at 2:49 AM
It sure seems that way!

I want to know what his plan is to win back Congress in the midterms. Our democracy is at stake!! Stop wasting time with BS rhetoric!

As for the Bromance, predications were high it would implode. More concerning is Trump federalizing a state guard without the Governor’s request. Once again, he is undercutting democratic norms and spurring costly sovereignty and civil rights lawsuits.

Spending $60 million on a military parade and another $25 million on golf trips (so far) during a presidency marked by major economic, healthcare, and infrastructure challenges reflects deeply flawed and skewed priorities.

Trump’s reckless, inflammatory and unwarranted action crosses constitutional red lines, especially absent a clear insurrection or invasion.

Higher education in other states have also become political battlegrounds. That said, Florida is often seen as the most extreme and coordinated example, especially given the scale of intervention from DeSantis and the legislature.

The FL Board of Governor’s rejection of Dr. Ono for president isn’t just about one person — it’s about the increasing politicization of our universities and the erosion of academic freedom.

What’s happening at UF is part of a larger, deeply troubling trend across the country.
