This sounds like a tame thing to say, but I’ve watched shit Liverpool sides lose a lot before in my lifetime and that sort of thing, the drudgery, doesn’t really account for the results for me. Being “not that terrible” doesn’t hugely matter if you’re losing, but I think it also kinda does.
