During our trial we asked both officers who took the stand - Danny Hodges (DC Metro) and Winston Pingeon (USCP) - about that.
Both said they were trained to descalate.

I should point out it is All Saints Sunday and Christians make their vow renewals.
My guess is Trump is golfing and, consequently missed several, most importantly the last regarding “justice and peace among all people.”
