The nominative determinism of this specific atrocity is off the charts here.

Bray is a historian at Rutgers who received death threats after landing on Turning Points USA's Professor Watchlist. As a result, he announced he was moving to Europe. And then this happened.

This kind of harassment and abuse of scholars is Charlie Kirk's legacy and it's only getting worse.

“Someone” cancelled my family’s flight out of the country at the last second.

We got our boarding passes. We checked our bags. Went through security. Then at our gate our reservation ‘disappeared.’

A former DOGE staffer developed an AI tool that hallucinated the size of Veterans Affairs contracts.

For example, it concluded that more than a thousand deals were each worth $34 million, when in fact some were for as little as $35,000.

DOGE Developed Error-Prone AI Tool to “Munch” Veterans Affairs Contracts
We obtained records showing how a Department of Government Efficiency staffer with no medical experience used artificial intelligence to identify which VA contracts to kill. “AI is absolutely the wron...

The UC Berkeley Labor Center mourns Kent Wong, our longtime colleague and friend. A passionate champion for workers—especially immigrants—and students, Kent dedicated his life to justice. Our hearts are with our colleagues at the UCLA Labor Center.

And then they acted like *I* was the one out of pocket. Personally I think they should be embarrassed. Maybe they are just too young, no idea. Anyway. I re-read what I had said and I don't see what all the anger was about.

I still think the person who flew into a rage because I thought their jokes were not funny due to pretty much NOT pointing to anything that accurate about the person/topic at hand needs to get over themselves. I didn't attack them personally but they screenshot/QT'd to flip out & curse at me.

🚨There goes the last of Governor Pritzker’s fucks. 🪦
He took that threat of being arrested to heart… and the people of Chicago are marching in the streets because the Chicago mayor and their governor have their backs. ✊🏼

Bleh just gonna mute people who have to turn every conversation into a dumb little war. Are they making money being snarky or trying to one-up other people or what.
maritsasansun.bsky.social
1. I'm not mad, I just literally didn't think you were funny, if you want to talk about he's making too much money then say that; 2. why are you hell bent on quote tweeting to dunk on someone who is literally just not agreeing with your snark, no need to get mad.

So now you're suggesting that game was lost due to Tibbets' poor coaching. (No no, I fully realize you're just out here defending your 'jokes' when I'm talking about the basketball I'm watching like some kind of non-social-media-savvy rube.)

"There's truth underneath all this fake outrage. Conservatives really are at a disadvantage in pop culture because most creative people are liberals, which has always been true & probably always will be. While MAGA has had some success building a culture machine, what it produces is mostly banal."

You think that's the level of his coaching? Because while his team has struggled against Aces this series, I think he has great rotations and does write up effective plays as we've seen all season/playoffs so far.

TFW you paid $1400 to see Beckett’s most famous work without knowing anything about it
One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

None of the use cases featured in any of the commercials for LLMs make sense let alone solve an unmet need.

Alternatively, you can shop vintage. For online vintage shopping, I like Wooden Sleepers (NY), Raggedy Threads (NY), Moth Food (NY), Front General Store (NY), Grand Street Local Vintage (NY), Velour (OR), Buttersworth Vintage (UK), Jojo's General Store (UK), and Broadway & Sons (Sweden).

I think most everybody in the WNBA knows not to pay any attention to Liz Cambage. There is NOTHING she can tell them that they don't already know, and the rest of what she brings is garbage as we all know.

for when I get blocked lmao:
"quick13" says "There is a link in my original post that says women are most susceptible to knee injuries. Not sure why that wasn't read." But of course Quick13 is the one who posted that info, then immediately acted like it had nothing to do with hormones or anatomy so she could complain about WNBA allowing too much "physicality" like ever other jackass intent on portraying the women of the W as reckless thugs (because black, lesbian, not named Caitlin, etc.).
maritsasansun.bsky.social
I mean, the other person definitely read it, the question is whether you read it and understood it instead of using it randomly in a regurgitation of attacks on WNBA, not-so-quick13.
