I started reading book one of the #StormlightArchive, “The Way of Kings” on Oct. 4…I just finished book five. That’s around 5900 pages in just over two months. Raar.

There's still so, so much to overcome. My sleep is the most fucked up it's every been...my moods are all over the place, the medication merry-go-round...I'm nowhere near ready, or able, to return to work, etc. etc. etc...but dude, I got *books* back.

I'm going on about books and reading so much lately because I'm trying to express how happy I am at having this part of myself back. There is SO much I want to read, and I finally feel like my brain will allow me to get through at least some of it.

I am now 270+ pages into #WindAndTruth, and it’s kind of weird to be reading a trade hardcover again. Especially one the size of this monster, hah. I have about an hour left of Navigators of Dune to go. Need more excuses to drive around so I can finish it.

I received my hardcover of "The Path of Daggers" from Biblio yesterday, so now my quest to get my #WheelofTime books I lost in the flood of July '24 back continues. Only books 9-14 to go! *sobs into wallet*

I just finished Sanderson’s #Oathbringer, my 10th book of the year. Most I’ve read/listened to in years. I’m almost done “Navigators of Dune” as well, and I should be able to get at least one more read before the end of the year.

I’m over 60% done #WordsOfRadiance so i’ll probably finish it today. Leave it to me to jump back into reading with 1000+ books, lawl. Really good stuff though, which definitely is helping my ADHD-brain stick with them.

70% through “The Way of Kings”. I know it’s just a book, but having something I’d thought my brain took away given back is…amazing. The simple act of reading a book. How I have missed it.
