Also the Trotters getting rich is a resolution to the entire wheeling and dealing premise of the show, whereas Donna’s lottery ticket is a throwaway gag about what a time traveller would get someone for a present. The former is weightier than the latter and harder to discard.

Blows my mind that Return of the Living Dead is now a 15, the same certificate as Gremlins or Critters. Content notes on the certification sort of explain the BBFC’s logic though.

The only reason Bluesky exists in the form it does today is through the efforts of an entire community of trans shitposters. They are the bedrock foundation of this place and Bluesky needs to acknowledge that and take special measures to protect them. This is the very least Bluesky owes trans folks.

It's extremely hard to convey to the average cis person just how bad the harassment of trans people on social media has gotten and how aggressively we're targeted, because if you've not been on the receiving end of it for years, you can't really grasp how relentless it is, and how isolating it is.
