I think it’s also that the effort to reward ratio for being a life ruining fuck to a stranger has gone entirely out of wack. Used to be that only unibomber tier weirdos got to enjoy perceiving their victims. These days a parasocial death threat even has a read receipt.

Idk if it’s up your alley at all but I’m an experienced programmer and I’ve been a bit curious about how good or bad those are. If you end up doing one and want a person to talk to or ask advice from, I’d be down to help you debug just to see whether they’re good.

I could also see red white. Boros is probably the most typecast color pair, so making a version of it focused on the kinda paradoxical question of “how do we make systems that make people as free and equal as possible” would be a cool direction.

Honestly yeah. There are cons to the collector boosterification of magic, but the ceiling on how good art can be is only rising.
