Bored, so I thought I'd 🧵 my #DoctorWho and professional #library, knowledge management, records management and book related passions together, and chart the occurrences they appear in the time travelling programme. No doubt I've missed some, so please let me know.
The Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) perusing a hefty tome in a library from Tooth And Claw.

Actually, another claim to fame, and one I've only found out recently, was that she had one of her own compositions performed for Ravi Shankar.

My aunt (ex- music teacher) appeared in a Bogies section of Dick & Dom In Da Bungalow where's she's conducting a school orchestra.
Her other claim to fame is that she taught one of the members of Roachford.

It's a real shame you don't see famous people opening supermarkets these days (correct me if I'm wrong). Michael McIntyre opening a new branch of Aldi, say.

When I was selling my last house, just as the estate agent photographed the living room, my cat Jasper decided to lie on his back legs akimbo. That was the photo that was used and it was plain, that some viewers thereafter, were only there to meet Jasper rather than have any interest in the house!

As an incurable surfer of RightMove, one of my little obsessions is photographs of houses where a pet has wandered into the shot to get in on the action. This tousled behemoth of a cat is a notable favourite.
A bland but not particularly awful modern living space with what appears to be a full-size mountain lion in the corner of the room, who is feeling bumptious, having just returned from a salon.

I have woken with a warm glow following last night's Edwyn Collins gig. I am not a churchgoer but there should be more gigs in churches. I saw Moon Duo a few years ago at St Bartholomew's church, Brighton, and that too was a suitably transcendental experience.

It was! I'm not going to lie!

What's a fantastic night it was!

From the Film Is Fabulous Facebook page:
Facebook comment from Film is Fabulous to Justyn Adderley: "Thanks. As mentioned by Sue Malden at our RECOVERED event in May, we are aware of several missing episodes of Doctor Who (Sue stated one of two, but there are more than this) in private film collections in the U.K. We are liaising with the individuals about cataloguing and preserving their entire collection, including the missing Doctor Who episodes, and ensuring that copies are returned to the BBC. We expect to make a detailed announcement shortly."

Tonight's venue for Edwyn Collins, St. George's church, Kemp Town, Brighton. I was pondering why here, and then it struck me. Gorgeous George!
A plaque for St George's church: St George's was designed by the architect Charles Busby in 1824-25 for Thomas Read Kemp to serve as the parish church for his new Kemp Town Estate. Queen Adelaide was a frequent attender especially to hear the sermons of Rev James Anderson, its curate from 1824-52.

Heads up if you are in the Eastbourne or Bexhill areas, the libraries are hosting The Book Band later in October. A concert in two halves; all songs are inspired by books. eastsussex.spydus.co.uk/cgi-bin/spyd...
