This reminds me of two people who contend they speak the same language yet their accents cause confusion. You contend I’m not listening and place blame on someone who is no longer President. I blame the person who is President because he opposes ACA and benefits extension that will impact millions.

I wish it were my Forbes. Nonetheless, we clearly have different takeaways from their analysis. First, ACA - I prefer Obamacare, covered millions who fell between the gap of Medicare & employer coverage. The biggest fallout under Triple B is premium increases of up to 114%. Big dollars w/no return.

Apparently you disagree with Forbes - www.forbes.com/sites/brianc... - Newsweek - www.newsweek.com/democrats-pr... - CNBC - www.cnbc.com/2025/07/01/h... - The Hill - thehill.com/homenews/sen... and others who use the same phrasing as I did. I disagree that the law cannot be changed via amendment.
The Big Beautiful Bill’s Health Fallout: Premiums, Shutdowns and Strain

I conflated using the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” as a reference point for the Democrats’ refusal to approve the operating budget. The bill’s approval only required 51 votes; the budget, 60. Democrats view the BBB’s passage as extremely harmful for reasons previously noted; hence the stalemate.
