Can I get someone with legal expertise to explain why the Gaetz case was dropped by DOJ? At the very least illegal drug charges and soliciting prostitution seem trivial. I think I understand why the statutory rape one was problematic.

I feel like our resistance has to take a different form for the next year. I’m calling it the “you broke it you bought it”. That doesn’t mean tolerate it. It does mean saying “Republicans did…”. Not Trump, Republicans. Whatever the bad is it is the Republicans fault. No one gets a free pass.
