#JuliaLang in the browser looks fun. I'm happy to see the next chapter of this.
I've made a virtual machine that interprets and executes #JuliaLang syntax and converted it to WASM. It does not work perfectly. It still can't do anything too rich, but it can now handle things enough to implement the Mandelbrot set. Have a try!

I finally got around to building Julia executables with juliac. Figuring it out was a bit bumpier than expected, so I created a tutorial script.

I started looking into how to avoid Sinclair media group. Then I realized I had already banned all of WJLA's social media accounts after tiring of their terrible Loudoun County Public School's coverage.

After watching Apple TV's Foundation and looking up Terrence Mann's repertoire, I realize we could have had a full blown musical episode in the season finale.

It's too late to sponsor this year's edition, but if your firm wants to sponsor the 2026 event in Mainz, do reach out!
#JuliaCon Local Paris 2025 could not happen without the generosity of our sponsors. Our first platinum sponsor is Temple Capital, an algorithmic trading firm which makes extensive use of #JuliaLang for their quantitative research. Check out their plenary on October 2nd!

While Yuri Vishnevsky does have valid critiques about #JuliaLang, just citing the one blog is really lazy.

My take is that I have easiest time fixing bugs in the Julia package ecosystem than any other ecosystem, both temporarily and permanently, from the core to 3rd party packages.
My observation with #JuliaLang so far is that while there are bugs in individual packages, I find it much easier to fix them. It's much easier to fix them both temporarily for my current project and permanently in the long run.

Friends raced to hit every Metro station in one day. Would they make it?
Trains have always attracted competitive riders. But Metro speedrunning has taken off recently as the system increased its reliability and social media savvy.
