Iconic historical poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge, the memorial in my local village where he was was born and grew up. His works and infamous relationships with Wordsworth and Shelley make him our most famous literary giant. A nice Boxing Day homage for us to visit.

The ‘queen of romantic comedy’ has died 18 months after announcing her brain cancer diagnosis
Madeleine Wickham, known for writing the bestselling novel Confessions of a Shopaholic under her pen name Sophie Kinsella, has died aged 55.
Wickham, dubbed “the queen of romantic comedy” by novelist Jojo Moyes, wrote more than 30 books for adults, children and teenagers, which have sold more than 45m copies. Continue reading...

Found myself in Oxford again this week, first time there since I was on tour with a v.famous singer.
Nice to see the sights I missed then and soak up the Xmas atmos. Visited all the important literary sights of course.
