I'm reading it for the first time with my spouse as well; I'm about 80% done, and I've been enjoying it immensely the whole way through. I expected to like it, but I was surprised just how much I have. For such a long book, it's written in a very digestible, efficient fashion.

That’s a really awesome animation, there’s a real sense of danger in that charge-up phase. Great work with the design too.

Totally; even the concept of "these monsters are abominations that shouldn’t exist so we’re just protecting nature" makes little sense when you consider that humans are hardly ever the best judges of what’s best for the world at large

Based on the name, I thought this was a resource-management strategy game. Hence my confusion about it having a parry mechanic.

That’s a great call, the movement in Specter was really creative. A lot of people didn’t like Plague of Shadows, and I know the level design was essentially the same as the base game, but I’ll be damned if I didn’t feel like a ninja bouncing around by the end of that DLC.

That’s such a solid selection. DKC2 and Shovel Knight are some of my favorite games, and the other two are undeniably iconic as well. That Shovel Knight DLC in particular was really clever spin on the base game.

Fantastic design. I think the dynamic, fluid posing of the character has a really cool contrast with the strong, hard geometry of the swords – that makes this piece very pleasing to the eye.

That’s fantastic design, very adorable with a lot of personality

You nailed it I think – there’s a unique mood about Morrowind that’s hard to find anywhere else, but it’s quite present in this piece

Man, I miss Morrowind a lot. This piece really feels like what I remember that world being; that’s really impressive.

That’s really cool, very impressive detail on the head in particular. I also like the mood that the lighting sets on this piece.
