There are a shocking number of cyclists around central Dublin who dress in dark colours and have no lights on their bikes at night. I agree that infrastructure is mainly to blame, but I honestly think people don’t realise how vulnerable they are when they’re functionally invisible.

Freelance part time work (unreliable), state aid when it’s available, juggling my time, not wasting it when I have it (easier said than done), sharing child rearing jobs with a very understanding partner, accepting it’s going to take significantly longer than a few weeks to get a first draft out.
