From the other place in the hopes of avoiding bots and the terminally hard of thinking. Fearing an echo chamber so might pick the odd polite fight. Like the quirks of a new site building and glitching. Like trying to edit this f'ing box
Unsure why people missed this when it was released. Not radio friendly. And relentless in a way many may find unappealing. Still a stone cold classic and as you say still relevant.

Despite me not really being a fan I saw him twice at Wembley in the 80s (ex girlfriend made me) he delivered amazing shows. And he sung that almost acapella. Underrated as a singer.

Last night he was on TOTP with Miss You Nights. That is a song.

Famously Herbie Flowers co wrote that song and used to tell the story that he was struggling for a hook and someone rang his doorbell, ding dong, ding dong and so he had Gran dad, Gran dad, His Wikipedia is worth a read at any time en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbie_...

I have the book on order, can't wait. I think. And Justin is visiting Brighton's Resident Records in September so will get to hear from him live

And the Black Shepherds were a great folk band

Can't double like but JC's live versions were always extraordinary.
"When I fall out of love, you
Meet me on the way down"

This is def JC's best song. Apart from the others you've favoured. Not sure why this isn't more widely recognised but if it was would I love it as much?

Ok so I said Into a Pearl is my favourite JC song. When actually it's this. Agreed live awesome, he did this at the "comeback" show in London (2007?) Gobsmacking.
To save time Crybabies is my fave. & Only Love. & Still in Love & Goldust. & Fallen Trees & TIMKN, ITR, Vocals on Baby You Survived......

That'll do it!

Possibly my favourite JC track. Certainly quintessentially Justin, I don't think anyone else could have written that. "All the broken glass is patient
It knows how smooth it’s gonna be
Then can’t you take that piece of grit and make a pearl for me?"
Off Lower Reaches originally?
