From the other place in the hopes of avoiding bots and the terminally hard of thinking. Fearing an echo chamber so might pick the odd polite fight. Like the quirks of a new site building and glitching. Like trying to edit this f'ing box

If you've known online me for any length of time you'll know what Del Amitri / Justin Currie means to me. Through the weirdness of the internet I was able to read and share my views on the Tremolo Diaries before release. Me! I work in community transport FFS. Thanks Pete

To ‘ultra-crepidate’ (19th century) is to lecture others on subjects you know very little about.

Tonight we hosted Justin Currie who talked with Joe Haddow about some of the serious matters in his book ‘The Tremolo Diaries’📚

With the occasional touch of lightness and some great audience questions!♥️

Having read 3/4 of The Tremolo Diaries I had the immeasurable pleasure of hearing Justin talk about them tonight. Still the warm, wry (actually outright funny) and self deprecating colossus he always has been. And it's a book like no other.

Day 2

Into A Pearl

From 2017's This Is my Kingdom Now a live version of this incredible song. Justin's voice sounds stunning when just accompanied by a piano.

So, for those killed and those whose voices are silenced: what more evidence do you need?

Will you act now – decisively – to prevent genocide in Gaza and to ensure respect for international humanitarian law?

This Council must prevail. Demand this ends.

Felt the need to reach for a whiskey* and randomly selected this cd. I'd forgotten what a classic it is. *whiskey not required to appreciate this music. But do turnmeup tidal.com/track/583062...

Happy #FeatureFriday everyone!
In case this is your first time, hi! This is the day of the week, where we pick music by an artist from here and give it a little spotlight.
Our full thoughts can always be found over on untidydownloads.com

This week’s album is “Underworld” by @takitrinatunes.bsky.social
My favorite song on it is “Just for You,” a powerful songs in which I can understand the point because it describes a feeling that I know from experience!

On Radio Dead Air each week I run the Invisibles: really good songs that don't get released as singles or videos, because promotional budgets are limited and labels don't like risks.

I do about four a week, and at the end of the year I pick the four that I liked the best.

So here we go.
