I have long thought that if John Howard had been the opposition leader after the Port Arthur massacre, he would have fought tooth and nail against any changes to gun laws, and used the event & proposed law changes to attack the govt & cause division.

This week shows that to be true.

After a staged performance & blaming the PM for the actions of #Bondi attackers, Josh Frydenberg snaps at the question on everyone’s mind.

The idea that changing a definition to include criticism of Israel as being anti-Semitic and cracking down even further on anti-genocide protests would have in any way made anyone safer is madness. That the Coalition have so comprehensively jumped to blame here is insanity. Who is this speaking to?

John Howard pushed for the invasion of Iraq, which was one of the dominoes which created the conditions for ISIS and caused untold human misery we are still dealing with today. He refused to acknowledge racism was a main driver of the Cronulla riots.

Nobody can explain how Australians peacefully marching against Israel’s genocide could cause anyone to commit such shocking acts of violence, so it would be nice, & not undermine police investigations, if politicians, the antisemitism envoy & the dreaded media stopped lying.

Muslims in Sydney are not going to mosques to pray, are not performing funerals in mosques or gathering in or near them. This is because of fear of retaliation (which we all know will happen).

Muslim people are not the problem as Jewish people are not the problem.

Commentary from Zionists and opposition blaming the government is appalling not because they are saying it because the MSM are handing them a microphone. Time they looked at the elephant in the room Israel's actions since October 2023 are to blame. Hate inspires hate

GLASHEEN: ... ... ... we are building out the infrastructure right now

Of all the American crimes against humanity their pronunciation of the word noir is by far the most egregious.

Nooarr.

No genre notable for delicacy and nuance can be called nooarr. It’s a crime.

It’s comforting to believe the tens of millions of Americans who didn’t vote would have voted against Trump, but there is zero evidence to support this notion.

We have to accept that Americans elected a criminal fascist, that they may do so again in the future, and write foreign policy accordingly.
