this is the great thing about rocks. they look so unseemly, but they are a treasure trove of information about all kinds of things that we couldnt get any other way. Rocks are just great :)

Thus the german diplomacy in the last 20 years should have put everything possible in motion to bridge the D-PL gap and turn them into core allies like with D-F after 45. But our politicians (D) were asleep at the wheel, Poland regarded as cheap backyard with an undertone of residual arrogance. /3

Poland is the key in all this. It hast the best conditions for the US splijtzwam plan. Their nationalists have a tradition to regard all around (including D for exx) as enemies and dream of alliance with the US against the rest of Europe (not just Russia)./2

We need unification more than ever.
But we also need realism. We have the electoral realities we have, and with these, a coherent fightback is not possible.
I dont want to sound defeatist, (but I do), but I do not see who/what will save this. EU-Unity parties at 5-20%

But we lack the political unification we need. Without it we are all open to be played against or being sold out by each other.
And theres no way i can see out of this.

just what should this 'rein in' mean? Agreed to the exodus, every serious institution or person should not be on that unserious platform. But other than that , since its not illegal to lie and brainwash, I dont know what 'reining in' can be done about disinfo.

i my memory, Obama was mostly made ineffective by opposition from within his own party, but by Republicans which he by and large appeared able to control. The 2010 midterm loss specifically seemed basically purposefully engineered by the Democrats to avoid having congressional free hand.

It is not a cult. Americans (who arent on Trump's side) must stop with this sweet self-lie if they want to overcome Trump. Trumps movement is the organic political result of the emasculation of US civic politics that the Democratic-Republican plutocracy had perfected on the decades prior.

That is only over the last 20-30 years that US culture has reached such a dominance here. That is not yet baked in.
However, this is maybe the biggest failure of the Left , that they embraced US culture (wars), blind to the fact that that was bringing domination by the right in its wake.

some of our descendants, not many, will survive. We should scale down our expectations. What do we need, food, warmth, a roof, each other. The monasteries had all that. We should go back to this and rebuild (more wont be possible on the depleted earth anyways). With better minds and souls.
