Wishful thinking that lead to predictions like "Putin will fall if people dislike him" we've been reading since more than 3 years. Even if 90% oppose him and the war, nothing will happen. That's one of the strong advantages of a dictatorship...it does not matter what 90% of the population thinks.

true, I was thinking of general limitations of DSIs reached at approximately Mach 2.0, has indeed nothing to do with the F-35.

A cheesy question now. How does the F-35 manage to achieve sufficient air compression at Mach 2.0 with the elegant but boring diverterless supersonic inlets (DSI)? Is the inlet volume expanding very much behind the cabin to compensate?
