I wonder whether it is based on actual experience or desire - and am sad about how it registers as a transgressive, notable thing for a solo woman traveller, even 200 years later

Back at #operleipzig for Walküre, popped by Leipzig's beautiful Marktplatz early before our 10am rehearsal and was greeted by the verdant bouquets of kale that grace every German market this time of year (what glorious spongy fronds) (happy to be here) 🌞
