Love the headline.

Its good to realise that - besides general sadness - it should also be named simply a failure that UK did not join SAFE bc of money.

Its hard to see how this will not affect the Reset.
The UK can't let go of the US like a drug addict can't let go of crack cocaine or heroine. The UK is fatally addicted. It will end up in a coma and on life support one day.

They are are polling at 34-41% across all age groups now in NI.

Towards a Fairer EU Asylum Policy: Lessons from the Dublin system for the EU’s Solidarity Mechanism
On 11 November 2025, the European Commission released its first European Annual Asylum and Migration Report as part of the new policy cycle introduced by the EU’s Pact on Migration and Asylum. The Commission examined the asylum, migration and reception situation across the EU and found that four member states are under ‘migratory pressure’, and 14 others either ‘at risk’ or facing a ‘significant migration situation’.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 The Economist writes about the disagreements between Rubio and Vance over the Ukraine peace plan.

It was Vance who pushed the initial hardline plan, calling Zelenskyy to lay out the terms.

Rubio, meanwhile, "tried hard to get things back on track by finding an agreement with the Ukrainians." "

Unless you're crazy enough to believe that Britons choosing to emigrate from the UK are poorer than the national average, this trend should be astoundingly worrying.

It's not merely a brain drain, but a stampede of capital leaving.

And that has huge knock-on effects.

UK trade figures. Not a happy picture.

The immediate post-Brexit policy was a failure. Despite protests otherwise it seems this year's trade strategy will be only half-heartedly implemented.
Quarterly trade data out this morning. Goods exports were down 0.7% compared to Q2, with weak USA exports certainly contributing. In addition, services trade growth seems to have slowed, with growth of just 0.2%.

I notice lots of "If reform get into power britain faces a fiscal crisis".

Spoiler: Liz Truss's pork markets have not saved brexit britain from ruin. the UK is broke because of brexit and left with Zero growth.

It's why Reeve's is unleashing emergency income tax rises at the end of this month.
