I read the news today, oh boy...
As hard as it is to believe, we are in the early stages of AI. God only knows what will happen in the future, but doing all those things -- and obviating some others -- is certainly possible. I'm not as sanguine about it as is Elon -- I don't think humans were meant for idleness. But we'll see.

They are running a competition between being the most incompetent administration in history, and the most corrupt. They've already beat all the other administrations in both categories, so now it's just a question of which one of these two comes out on top.

He can't stop it, so he's trying to blunt the effect by saying he was for releasing them. But I wouldn't be surprised if there were some kind of illegal shenanigans going on to delete data from them as well, although it seems to me the Epstein estate should have copies of much of them somewhere.

Because they ARE losing money, and have lost money every year of their existence. If the NBA wasn't already subsidizing them they wouldn't exist. The NBA can do that because the players go along with it. Corporations have shareholders who aren't so liberal with their money.
