End the hostile environment.

Migrants welcome and tax the rich.

That’s why we’re building power in communities and at Westminster.

That’s how we win.

Shame, but after recent listings by @elliechowns.bsky.social & @adrianramsay.bsky.social RON will get my second, and last, preference.

They seem to be hell bent on destroying local parties and the volunteer base by dismissing their work- the very thing that got them elected in the first place.

He believes disabled people need to be subjected to more frequent assessments (apparently we can make ourselves un-disabled…who knew?)

After due consideration, having weighed up the relevant evidence, assessed the balance of arguments and gamed the likely implications, I have reached the conclusion that Keir Starmer can fuck off from a great height.

Where do you stand on the assisted dying bill as it currently stands.
Do you support it or oppose it, regardless of current Party policy?

Thanks

I know there are many trans and non-binary people who will be feeling deeply worried today, caught in the midst of a media storm as they try to simply live their lives. Please know that I stand with you - today, tomorrow and always.

Anyone else that doesn't have a constituency MP they can ask for help with any issues?

Need to find a foster-MP as there's no way on earth if trust mine with any private information about me, but sometimes could do with an MP to help.

Given the recent "debates" around disabilities and long term sick, I thought I'd share some of the things I live with due to my Ataxia.

- Unsteady walking
- Staggering or stumbling
- Difficulty with turns
- Poor coordination
- Clumsiness
- Difficulty with fine motor tasks

Rachel Reeves during the election ruled out a wealth tax on the super rich as she said their spending plans didn't need the money.

People with extreme disabilities unfit to work this Labour Government think are apparently not in need of the money.

It's sick.

They cannot get away with this.

They must hear from every single one of us.

They must know how much this will affect them at the ballot box.

And instead of worrying about losing to Reform and his billionaire mates - they must know that they are absolutely losing the country.

We cannot allow ourselves to be frozen in a state of despair.

It's totally understandable if those affected feel they can't fight back - but for those who can, it's a moral responsibility.

Write to your MP. Attend a demo. And most importantly - let's get organised.

Disabled people.

They were never going to stop at just demonising migrants.

Or the LGBT+ community.

Labour will never stop feeding the Reform machine until the very few people protected are those insulated by their wealth.

We have raised almost enough money (mainly outside of the crowdfunder), and I would like to thank everyone that has pledged or donated so far, but we are still £500 short of being able to run the full campaign.

If you can help in any way, that would be amazing, as we must beat the Tories.

I am pleased to announce that I have been selected as the Burnley Green Party candidate for the Burnley Central West Division at Lancashire County Council.

As a disabled candidate, I would really appreciate any help I can get, and have a crowdfunder below.

It took a while, several false starts and legal threats, but this barrier from Saxifield Street to Standen Hall Drive, Briercliffe, Burnley has now been altered by Lancashire County Council and I can pass through.

A partial win, as I can get through fine but others might not.

Labour's disgusting deportation stunt this week wasn't just morally bankrupt, it was politically stupid. Politicians need to find the backbone to be honest about the real source of our problems: the wealthy elite draining money from our communities

Today seems like a good day to repost my crowdfunder link.

I will be standing against Labour, and Oliver Ryan and Burnley Labour have already targeted my disability before, and the Tories who tried to block accessible access to our Council Chamber.
Every £ will help!

Burnley MP Oliver Ryan reported to be active member of #TriggerMeTimbers WhatsApp Group.

Just being in the group is condoning racist & sexist (and possibly antisemitic) comments, but being active too is going even further.

He should resign now.

Second Labour MP and former Tameside councillor was member of 'racist' WhatsApp group
A former Tameside councillor and now Lancashire MP also posted on the Trigger Me Timbers WhatsApp group which was used to share offensive messages between Labour Party members, it has emerged.

Who doesn't like going £100s into debt to buy a cheap & unsuitable powerchair because Wheelchair Services won't see you for 6+ months, and even then won't prescribe a powerchair?

I'm sure Rachel Reeves would find a way to use the HP repayments to prove #Disabled people need more cuts though.
