One of my New Year's resolutions was to be more active on social media again. Why not begin telling my tiny audience about my R package that was recently accepted to CRAN? The goal of `ivd` is to facilitate random effects selection with a spike-and-slab prior on the scale part of MELSMs.

After 5 years of data collection, our WARN-D machine learning competition to forecast depression onset is now LIVE! We hope many of you will participate—we have incredibly rich data.

If you share a single thing of my lab this year, please make it this competition.

Researchers study long developmental spans using accelerated longitudinal designs (ALDs). Fitting parametric growth or change score models imposes strong assumptions. We use functional data analysis to nonparametrically model ALDs in continuous time.

I'm now also looking for a postdoc with strong Bayesian background and interest in developing Bayesian cross-validation theory, methods and software. Apply by email with no specific deadline (see contact information at users.aalto.fi/~ave/).

Others, please share
I'm looking for a doctoral student with Bayesian background to work on Bayesian workflow and cross-validation (see my publication list users.aalto.fi/~ave/publica... for my recent work) at Aalto University.

Amazing collection of resources in the replies! I'm really glad that the academic 'twitter' is still alive here and that I decided to get back to social media :)
Who has an academic website they’re proud of?

I’m especially interested in websites by grad students, and in websites built with Quarto. I’ll be offering a local workshop on building a website with Quarto, and I’m keen to give my audience examples. #rstats
